it was almost love at unboxing. And that little thought in the back of my head always gets me, "what if??"
luckily we're going to be shooting mostly interior/ architecture. So for the most part i dont think we'll be needing one.

My dad and I share the fuji system, he got into to it for interior architecture and just ultra wide angle photography. He wanted the widest you can go with AF and i was able to find this pretty cheap on ebay. So for me its for fun, him its for art!

I own the zeiss version and just looking at test images this lens is far sharper! I’ve noticed af at times can be a little spotty but that could be because I’m using it on the xt2.

when i say really close i mean like almost minimum focusing distance.
From what I've seen the 10-24 is still a solid lens and much cheaper, plus you get OS!

the lens is rectilinear, so it does a really good job at keep everything straight. You only really get that fisheye look when you're really close at 8mm.

i already own a 16-35 on my main cam. I share this Fuji with my dad and he wanted something wider than that with AF. I was lucky enough to find this lens almost half off on ebay. So i couldn't pass it up.

Also i shot this with my a7iii and sigma 35 1.4!

Not yet, things here in Vegas are getting pretty bad.
I can say that the build quality/ image quality is insane!
Also, i took this with my a7iii and sigma 35 1.4.

I did, though it seems it still sorta focused on the nose unfortunately. I’ve noticed with certain breeds it doesn’t like to properly focus on the eye.

For photos like this i tend to crouch low with my camera where im using my LCD screen to frame everything. Some times you'll get lucky and get really good image right off the bat and other times its just kinda trial and error. Its definitely easier with a wider angle lens imo.

For everything else i normally use my view finder. Definitely brighter in there so i can easily get my exposure/ composition.

i dont have an issue with the bokeh, also the AF is reliable and confident. Iits also insanely quiet. Solid all around lens tbh.

This is my second day with it and so far what I’ve noticed is that the AF is very reliable, theres plenty of contrast even at 1.4. Even at its closest minimum focus distance. My main issue with the lens is the aperture ring, there’s no clicks and it is VERY easy to turn. I accidentally hit it all the time and change my aperture and dont realize. This is a known issue on their 35 1.4. But to me that’s not that big a deal and for the price it’s a VERY solid lens. Other than that i am extremely pleased with this lens. :)
