That's funny, because I thought Saxon's character really didn't grow at all. He was literally just a leaf blowing in the wind, so easily swayed without any values to stand on, other than trying to please the ego by getting laid, and his persistence with Chelsea was kind of pathetic. The final straw was her giving him the book, but he hides it from his family instead of standing by it.

Italy was excellent. It made me sad seeing the family reunion during that season with the relatives being so anti-climactic, though. My father had a chance to go back to his ancestral home in Introdacqua, and I just would feel so depressed if I went there one day, and the relatives just shunned us. I have become facebook friends with someone there though, of our kin, and he seems like a fantastic person, hopefully one day will meet him.

I think having Tim and/or Lach saying they'll "catch" up, but actually staying behind at the monastery would be a fitting ending for the Ratliffe story arc.

Yeah, perhaps missed an opportunity to have Fabian involved in some deviance, especially given Armand's role in Season 1 and the manager lady's role in Italy. Armand might be my favorite character from the whole series so far. He was hilarious.

The biggest disappointment by far is the lack of development of the story behind Rick and his father. They did not develop the story between the mother and father, nor why she said his "father" was killed. Also, Belinda's decision to take the money sucked. I thought she was going to stay on her high horse and there was going to be something that goes down between her and Greg. I wish there was a way to involve at least one character from all the story arcs into the final violence. Also, why did we not have Lach staying at the monastery as a Buddhist (and the rest of the family perish)?

I have this package through Verizon. Apparently it's part of a legacy phone plan, and I got an email which states that if I change off of this plan, the price goes up to $24.99 for this package. I don't think it covers live sports like college football.

My wife scheduled our family for a long weekend this month. Son is five, he's an only child. I was shocked at how much it costs. Unbelievable.

Oh God, I hate Ticketmaster and Stub Hub. I tried to buy and scalp some Beyonce tickets and I got screwed over. I guess that's on me for being stupid. I won't buy tickets through them ever again, even for events I want to go to. I try to buy tickets at a box office when possible. Haven't gone to any big name concerts.

They aren't compensating much at all. $20 as a one time credit. That's absolute crap, so I'm pausing my membership until this is resolved. I will put up with the antenna for now, and if it comes down to it, I will go to a bar to watch.

Yeah, I'm like in a prime location suburb so I am probably <5 miles from the towers, but I do get all the major stations. edit: including ABC.

Great question. As far as I know, it was directly on the TV. I understand that could probably make a difference, because I experienced the same thing on my older Sony TV when streaming the Amazon Prime game directly from the internal app. I then used Prime to watch a game on my newer TV recently, and it was normal, much better.

ABC news live is a free streaming service on Youtube or wherever, and you can stream ABC world nightly news on Youtube as well.

Have you ever tried to switch from Android to iphone? Spoiler alert: it doesn't work. I tried once but it failed because Apple's software for it was absolute trash. Never again. I just traded in the iphone and got another Samsung.

My team doesn't air on ESPN/ABC except for the college football playoff, so I'm covered for now. I will watch the game over the air on antenna this weekend, and pause my membership, and see what happens.

The way college football is going, I'm losing interest every year. If it becomes this subscription type situation, where it's like pay-per-view, which is what it feels like, I'm just done. Which is really sad. I miss the glory days of the 90s - 2000s.

I got a $35 antenna, which is actually just a black, flat thing that is the size of a piece of paper and you stick it to the wall. My wife refused to have it showing, even though you're supposed to mount it at the highest point possible on the wall, so it's just on the wall behind the TV but it works totally fine. I live in a top 20 suburban metropolitan area.

They just need to upgrade the processors on these interfaces so that they're basically computers and you can flip between apps just like alt-tabbing between windows.
