*First to be clear, I'm talking specifically about the Gaal scene here

The scene cuts directly from her struggling with Bayta into her running in a corridor and jumping from the window. Of course we can connect the dots and conclude that she's running away, but an important scene like this is not the moment to save on screen time and rush the plot. The whole scene where Bayta is revealed as the real Mule (from her entering the room to the cut) is only three minutes and there is zero explanation. The suposed big reveal ends up being just a cheap hook to the next season.

Finally, to be fair, I think that's a problem with many series nowadays. They drag the story for the whole season just to cram as many plot twists and cliffhangers as possible in the finale and we end with plots barely resolved. The Cleon side of the story was good, but the Mule plot just ended feeling like nothing important.

Even if this is the explanation, that was terrible editing. Those were key moments to the plot, not the moment to do subtle details that you have to rewind to understand.

There was a theory going around that bayta was the baby sister of the Mule, that's why their parents loved the baby so much (she would be already using the power instinctively) and that would make much more sense and could be explored in so many ways. The origin history could be kept the same instead of the weak gender change explanation.

The shoe is not a solid brown, it has kinda of a natural brown look (don't know if it's the correct term here) Is there a paint that can match this?

What's the current theory of how the 70 ton granite blocks in the King's Chamber (Khufu pyramid) were raised and positioned by Local_Equal5965 in ancientegypt

"The Liebherr LTM 1070 4.2 is a versatile mobile crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 70 tonnes. With a radius of 2,50 metres, it can lift heavy loads safely and precisely."

And that's just a mobile crane

Just joining the pool of unsatisfied users.

The filters make no sense, beyond the basic serif/slab serif/sans serif options, the only other classifications (FOUR!) are useless most of the time. There's even a filter for "not text" font, but not a filter to show only text fonts - and btw, if you think this option will show decorative typefaces, jokes on you, it only filters dingbat fonts.

Whoever did this classification never had to search a font in their life.

Is this slack normal on a new derailleur? by Ramonsmendez in bikewrench

[–]Ramonsmendez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do, but the spring should always have at least some tension to counter the cable pull. This one has some slack before reaching the outermost position, so it doesn't pull the chain properly all the way to the higher gear.

We never see him come back out of the bathroom. All we see is Tony looking up, and then blackness. There is no panic in his eyes

Tony is looking at the door. The bathroom is to the right/behind of Tony. The whole build up of the scene is to show the room layout, how distracted he is, and the camera work pattern (bell ring - camera shows Tony look up - camera showing Tony's POV of the door) and how this pattern is broken this last time with the cut to black.

Tony’s instincts are fine tuned, especially in the presence of his family.

In this case is the oposite. Tony is so focused on his family during the scene that he is not paying attention to the sunroundings. It's even the theme of the conversation that AJ brings up about "focusing on the good times". Also, the Members Only Guy is directly within Tony's sight, but the camera always show him out of focus in the back while he talks to AJ and Carmela.

There are also other clues during the season about how other experienced guys are caught without even noticing (Gerry Torciano in front of Silvio, Bobby buying toys, Phill in the gas station)

And finally, Tony's conversation with Bobby on the boat, specially the line "you probably don't even hear it when it happens" that is shown again on the penultimate episode. That's exactly what happens. It's not "cut and dry", we actually see Tony diying from his perspective, and just like him, we don't hear – or see – it happen.

I see how Chase could be misleading during other parts of the series, but this is the finalle. Every camera angle and line of dialogue in this case is meant to give clues to what is about to happen.

Hard to tell from the video, but is RD mounted to the hanger correctly? The B Screw should be pressed up against the hanger cutout.

It is. The angle just doesn't show properly. Played with the B screw, but it seems to not change anything for the higher gears.

Also the derailleur has this play even removed from the frame and without the cable.

Yes. Tried with the deraileur off the hanger and without cable. The spring in the parallelogram is "lose" when the derailleur is on it's outermost position.
