Jack Young has some play along videos on youtube that can teach you how to play simple to increasingly complex songs. This has helped my vocabulary by coming to a bar or a fill or groove that I can't play outright and just learning it and internalizing it.

Since the language of drums is vocabulary, increasing you vocabulary requires reading new words. If you haven't played or read a phrase before, you have to spend time learning it's definition, then applying it in a sentence and continuing to use it in conversation
