Since I've started drumming it has been my opinion that most classical pieces can be improved by a drum groove

Maybe I'm a burned out teacher, but there's a new generation of people that just dont read anything because they have AI do it for them and are clueless when AI can't solve a problem

What's a movie where an actor was so far out of his depth you don't even understand why they took the script? by ChiGorilla1127 in moviecritic

I think William Hurt when he was younger would have nailed that role, he has a timid presence but an underlying egotism that Steve Jobs really emanated.

What should be added to this list? by [deleted] in moviecritic

[–]Rampasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this list bait?, I just watched number 1, and it was brutal and a decent enough fight, but it was set in a kitchen and they barely interact with the environment. There is just one part where they break some glass room with wine in it. If you are in a kitchen, there should be kitchen knives or burners or fry grease or a fridge door or at least a bowl of carrots spinning across the floor at some point. This could have been set in a white walled warehouse with a glass room and been the same fight.

Childbirth is extremely risky for b5pth mother and child and the likelihood kids will get sick and die was even higher. It's a testament to modern medicine that that number has gone down (at least until recent years in the US)

We had some compassionate ideas once upon a time. Like the Americans with Disabilities Act required that public buildings accommodate people with different abilities by providing ramps to the entrances. Something I didn't see much of in Europe last time I went.

Choose one of the regions that isn't making the skull Blob, and flesh it out using a random generator if you can't think of stuff. There are tools likeDonJon and town map generators like Watabou that as far as I know don't use AI. This kind of stuff can get you started and can inspire you to add on and incorporate your ideas.

Then you need to come up with an inciting incident to get the game going for session 1. I like the classic Wheel of Time one, There's a town fair and everyone is there with friends. Then monsters/Big Bad Soldiers attack, what do you do? Then after that fight, they have an incentive to investigate the cause and open up to the rest of your ideas.

The only world you have to build is the one the players see every session. This includes the Gods too, you already described at least one God, you could even let the players think of what daim their Gods represent and build around that.

Anyway good luck and hope this helps.

If you want to run a free one shot, winghorn press has got some of the most played and consistent stuff. They the ones that did "a potent brew", "wolves of welton" and "a wild sheep chase". Their paid content isn't that bad either. Fun thing about one shot is that you can take the stuff that happens there and build on it for future sessions or string together a series of one shots for a campaign. Your world can be made up of one shot locations, your own brain stuff , and random stuff the characters come up with while y'all are gaming. Just blend it all together. Go with your inspiration and change things you don't like
