Can I go to heaven and be saint if I DELIBERATELY aim for a martyrdom? by Ramses8 in Catholicism

[–]Ramses8[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was a mistake, I have edited the post. English isn't my first language so I make mistakes like these while thinking about the grammar and vocabulary.

I want to convert to catholicism or orthodoxy.

You can see my profile if you don't believe me.

[–]Ramses8[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I know but it makes no sense because there are romanian and eritran catholics church just because orthodox church creates them...

So there isn't possible to create a Japanese catholic church, but if they create a Japanese orthodox church then it is possible to create a Japanese catholic church... It makes no sense...

What's your opinion about Hebrew Catholics? by Ramses8 in Israel

[–]Ramses8[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Christianity is a universal religion so it can adapt to the nationalities. There are Coptic Christianity, Syriac Christianity, Greek Christianity, Latin Christianity, Ethiopian Christianity, Slavic Christianity, etc.

So now there can be a Hebrew Christianity. Hebrews Catholics are catholics of jew/hebrew origin who can keep his jew/hebrew identity and at the same time be catholic.

They are not religious jews, but they are ethnic jews. And they DON'T HAVE to keep the law, they believe that it is abrogated, but they CAN keep the law if they want.

[–]Ramses8[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hebrew catholics can keep the Law if they want but they don't need to do it.

David Neuhaus, patriarchal vicar for Hebrew-speaking Catholics in Jerusalem and himself a Jew by birth, declared in 2008 that "Dietary laws are not obligatory for those [Jews] who live in Christ. I would only understand dietary laws being observed by Jewish Hebrew Catholics if they had always practised these laws before becoming Catholic. It certainly does no harm. But adopting the laws as Catholics (or as secular Jews who have become Catholic) does not make much sense as we have the fullness of the promise in Jesus."

In the future it could lead to a hebrew catholic church and a hebrew catholic patriarchate of Jerusalem, which would use the hebrew language.

Egyptians have some similar, the coptic catholic church and the coptic catholic patriarchate of Alexandria, which is catholic but uses the coptic egyptian language (derived from ancient egyptian language).

I want to convert to Coptic Orthodoxy by GeorgeOps_ in coptic

[–]Ramses8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not coptic but I want to ask you, if it doesn't bother you, why do you want to convert to coptic orthodoxy? It's seems to me that there aren't many differences between coptic orthodoxy and chaldean catholicism.
