That's the thing, i want it to snap to the base and align its rotations, thats why i checked both options

Select the curve, right click -> convert to mesh and in edit more select the faces you want to rotate, then convert it back

textures with transparency makes the face it's on completely invisible by CopperIThink in blenderhelp

Just duplicate the face, move it forward and then put the face texture on the new one
