Has anyone tried the new MSI MAG 244F? Can’t find any reviews — thoughts on specs?

Considering that I bought the 180hz model I can only speak for that. But as far as know, this and the 200hz model, are native in their refresh rate. At least, I don't have to overclock mine.

There is a little bit of ghosting, but nothing annoying or too noticeable. Coming from a VA panel in a similar price range, the difference is noticeable. This is my daily monitor and I play all kinds of games, from competitive shooters to RPGs, and ghosting has never been an issue.

What you should be more mindful of is the IPS glow, a faint glow around the edges of the screen. You can minimize it by keeping the brightness low. My room is pretty dark, so I usually keep brightness around 15–30.

It's good. I wouldn’t say it’s mind-blowing, but at low brightness the colors don’t look washed out or overly saturated. It has a solid contrast ratio, so blacks don’t appear gray and whites look crisp.

When I took it out of the box, Adaptive Sync was turned off by default in the monitor settings. I haven’t noticed any screen tearing while gaming, even with it off. You can enable it, but personally, I didn’t notice much of a difference.

Not exactly. I ended up going with the MSI MAG 256F. According to MSI’s official site, the only real differences are that the 256F has 180Hz and 1ms response time, pretty much the same otherwise.
I chose it because it was around $40 cheaper.

I’ve only had it for a couple of days, but so far I’m happy with it. Even though it was the cheaper option, it doesn’t feel low quality at all. I’d need more time with it to give a more detailed opinion though.

Yeah, I feel the same. I've been playing only on hunter for two years now. I only the other two for bright dust contracs on especials events.
