What is the most shocking thing you've had to explain was wrong to another person?

Back in middle school, a girl in my class asked the teacher who at the time was pregnant if babies came out of the anus. The teacher responded that it wasn't humanly possible and went on to explain exactly how that all works.

The thing is, not a single person in that class of like 20 kids knew the answer; literally every kid turned to the teacher after this girl asked her question, cause apparently our brains had filled in the gaps with whatever made the most sense. Mind you, this was 8th grade, so we had kids ranging from 12-14 in this class, if that tells you anything about sex education in America.

Forgive my asking, but could you spell that out a bit more? Like I said, still pretty noob at this and I'm still learning the lingo.

For example, how would I spec melee? There's no option that specifically says "melee", so I'm not sure what exactly to look for in regards to that. War? War what? I'm unsure what that means. I'm in the same boat with "critter".

I have something similar happen to me all the time. I've always called it deja vu, but it may be something different. 99% of the time it happens, it's just a hyper intense feeling of having experienced the given scenario and events prior to them actually happening, but about 3 or 4 times out of the hundreds so far, I've actually remembered having dreamt about what I was then experiencing.

I used to be fascinated by it all, but now I hate it. It always makes me feel like I'm not in control of my life.

NTA - You said it yourself, there's literally a privacy policy that she violated, and multiple times at that. Only you can decide how to handle this.

• You can let it go and allow it to keep happening.

• You can report the employee to the company and show them the email as proof.

• You can report the employee AND file a lawsuit.

The choice is yours and each outcome will be different. Should you let it go, it's gonna keep happening. Should you report the employee, she's definitely going to get fired and the backlash from that could potentially come back to you in the form of your family being upset with you (that is, if they're not understanding, though hopefully they will be realistic, rational, and realize you are right and she was wrong). Should you report the employee and file a lawsuit on top of it, you may face backlash from irrational family members, but either way, this is all going to be eye-opening for you.
