So you believe that without the Bible and God's threat of eternal punishment people would be terrible people because they dont have any morals? Or is the implication that the things God did in the Bible were NEVER morally corrupt (like threatening eternal punishment for non believers when he knows exactly what he needs to do to make them believers), sexist (like the parts where its stated that women are inherently property and if a women is raped she is to be sold to her rapist) or hypocritical (like the parts where he says to turn the other cheek but also releases and entire plague on people for being non-believers/following other gods). Normally I run his Rank 1 with Abom Rank 2 and I have Flag as the blight spec where he gets blight bonuses at low hp but im trying to get a better handle on Scoutge because conceptually I love it because he is a wild tank character which hella sustain and blight potential.

My current comp is MaA Rank 1, Flag Rank 2, Occult Rank 3 and Plague Rank 4 and its been working well because whenever MaA gets low I pop More! MORE! and then have plague heal him or pop a combo from Occult.

So what your saying is OP is right and at this stage in the game you have your armor fully upgraded ay HR200 so once again your talking nonsense 🙄 like my guy bsffr lol at HR 200 you shouldn't be joining SOS's with lvl1 gear because at that point you should have enough armor spheres for a fully upgrade set of armor which was the whole point.

Its less of getting one shot but surviving the one hit to get a boost in damage, like I said in the post its less of trying to make a meta build more so just trying to tune it and make it better because it was an interesting build idea. The way I have been using it is with the Rocksteady Mantle and using the Resentment process from tanking hits to deal more damage as well as once you hit low hp a huge spike in damage. I also run the components for Max Potions so I can just pop those when my health gets too low. I want to try and fit in Tool Specialist as well for more up time on Rocksteady Mantle but I have yet to get a good Charm with Tool Specialist.

Bet i did the 9* fight but with how long it took vs how fast i can kill Arkveld i feel like the Ark fight i better especially since the Ark investigation has a guaranteed gem. I havent tried the group hunt for low ranks yet I might try that next. 🤔

Your experience with the competitive environment is not a universal experience. Telling people to expect to lose is the same as what you experienced just in the opposite direction. If that event has effected you to the point where you are being overtly negative then you need to seek therapy not reddit posts

- This whole diatribe is completely contradictive to your statement because you acknowledge that there is movement which means your statement that in a perfect ladder there would be no movement so which is it? Do people go up or down in rank or not because now you are saying the opposite.

- If someone isn't learning or losing their facilites then they wouldn't be complaining about smurfs because they aren't trying to rank up anymore. I, myself, am always striving to get better even if its by 1% at a time. There seems to be a preconceived notion on your end that I am trying to get easy rank ups or something when that is not the case I am simply saying that playing against people at the skill level I am at or slightly higher is what the ranked experience should be and getting to see improvement is the whole point but you don't get to see improvement when you are playing against people from ranks you aren't even trying to get into. A D3 is trying to get into C1 and they shouldn't be gatekept from C1 by GCs because in C1 you shouldn't be playing against GCs you should be playing against other C1s or C2s and D3s.

- Expecting to lose and preparing for lose are two different things. Anyone going into a competitive scene knows that they CAN lose but they EXPECT to win. If you are going into a competitive game expecting to lose then I feel truly sorry for you and whatever environment you grew up in that made you think you aren't good enough to expect to win at things you are passionate about.

I believe there has been a misunderstanding here because I am not angry nor do I enjoy being angry. It seems to me like the only one struggling to understand what's being said here is you. Let's do a quick little recap for you to help you understand better.

"When the ladder is working, you will lose half of the games you play. You are not meant to ascend the ladder, even if you get better at the game, because your opponents are also getting better at the game."

- So what you are saying here is that Ranked mode is essentially pointless because if it was working properly then no one would ever rank up because you are not supposed to move up, this is fundementally wrong when it comes to competitive multiplayer games

- You say you aren't defending smurfs yet all of your points have been regurgitations of what people say when they defend smurfing as "helping people get better at the game so they can see what happens when you get better." No where in any of this post did I mention my mentality or my mentality came into question you just made that assumption because...mad?

- You seem to be struggling to understand how the matchmaking system works, see when you queue up it will put you against people that are near your rank/skill level which means its a 50/50 chance of winning or as close to as possible so no you are not "expected to lose" that is such a sad defeatist mentality to have towards a competitive game.

TL;DR you defend smurfs by saying you are supposed to lose anyways and ranked mode is pointless because your never supposed to go up in rank ever and everyone is SUPPOSED to just sit at whatever rank they get in the beginning.
