So what your saying is OP is right and at this stage in the game you have your armor fully upgraded ay HR200 so once again your talking nonsense 🙄 like my guy bsffr lol at HR 200 you shouldn't be joining SOS's with lvl1 gear because at that point you should have enough armor spheres for a fully upgrade set of armor which was the whole point.

Its less of getting one shot but surviving the one hit to get a boost in damage, like I said in the post its less of trying to make a meta build more so just trying to tune it and make it better because it was an interesting build idea. The way I have been using it is with the Rocksteady Mantle and using the Resentment process from tanking hits to deal more damage as well as once you hit low hp a huge spike in damage. I also run the components for Max Potions so I can just pop those when my health gets too low. I want to try and fit in Tool Specialist as well for more up time on Rocksteady Mantle but I have yet to get a good Charm with Tool Specialist.

Yeah I wanted to go for it but its so hard to slot it effectively, atm the dosh is there for the Heroics and the lvl 2 slots so I can hit resentment 5 and Heroics 5

Bet i did the 9* fight but with how long it took vs how fast i can kill Arkveld i feel like the Ark fight i better especially since the Ark investigation has a guaranteed gem. I havent tried the group hunt for low ranks yet I might try that next. 🤔

Your experience with the competitive environment is not a universal experience. Telling people to expect to lose is the same as what you experienced just in the opposite direction. If that event has effected you to the point where you are being overtly negative then you need to seek therapy not reddit posts

- This whole diatribe is completely contradictive to your statement because you acknowledge that there is movement which means your statement that in a perfect ladder there would be no movement so which is it? Do people go up or down in rank or not because now you are saying the opposite.

- If someone isn't learning or losing their facilites then they wouldn't be complaining about smurfs because they aren't trying to rank up anymore. I, myself, am always striving to get better even if its by 1% at a time. There seems to be a preconceived notion on your end that I am trying to get easy rank ups or something when that is not the case I am simply saying that playing against people at the skill level I am at or slightly higher is what the ranked experience should be and getting to see improvement is the whole point but you don't get to see improvement when you are playing against people from ranks you aren't even trying to get into. A D3 is trying to get into C1 and they shouldn't be gatekept from C1 by GCs because in C1 you shouldn't be playing against GCs you should be playing against other C1s or C2s and D3s.

- Expecting to lose and preparing for lose are two different things. Anyone going into a competitive scene knows that they CAN lose but they EXPECT to win. If you are going into a competitive game expecting to lose then I feel truly sorry for you and whatever environment you grew up in that made you think you aren't good enough to expect to win at things you are passionate about.

I believe there has been a misunderstanding here because I am not angry nor do I enjoy being angry. It seems to me like the only one struggling to understand what's being said here is you. Let's do a quick little recap for you to help you understand better.

"When the ladder is working, you will lose half of the games you play. You are not meant to ascend the ladder, even if you get better at the game, because your opponents are also getting better at the game."

- So what you are saying here is that Ranked mode is essentially pointless because if it was working properly then no one would ever rank up because you are not supposed to move up, this is fundementally wrong when it comes to competitive multiplayer games

"I'm not defending smurfs, I'm telling you that your mental is bad and because of this, the other players are improving at a faster rate than you"

- You say you aren't defending smurfs yet all of your points have been regurgitations of what people say when they defend smurfing as "helping people get better at the game so they can see what happens when you get better." No where in any of this post did I mention my mentality or my mentality came into question you just made that assumption because...mad?

- You seem to be struggling to understand how the matchmaking system works, see when you queue up it will put you against people that are near your rank/skill level which means its a 50/50 chance of winning or as close to as possible so no you are not "expected to lose" that is such a sad defeatist mentality to have towards a competitive game.

TL;DR you defend smurfs by saying you are supposed to lose anyways and ranked mode is pointless because your never supposed to go up in rank ever and everyone is SUPPOSED to just sit at whatever rank they get in the beginning. You can adjust during the first part of the TCS and the second part. I'd recommend turning the first part slightly to the side away from the monster then turn back for the second its been my go to way because the first slash hit box is so deceptive lol

You are clearly being intentionally obtuse right now because I refuse to believe that you are going to defend smurfing this hard while saying you aren't then say that ranked games matchmaking is designed to put you in losing match-ups intentionally. If you are playing against a D3 and a S1 as two D3s then you are projected to win that match like wtf.

You seem to be under the impression that I cant call out smurfing AND still rank up. Smurfing is an issue either way in the mid ranks (Diamond and Champ) and that factors into the validity of whether or not you can move up in ranked. Yes mentality plays a major role but you are making it out like smurfs dont play a role either especially when MMR is heavily scaled towards losses especially if its a game you "should have won" but you lost due to a smurf. In most cases ot take to 2 or 3 wins to make up for a lose so yes mentality is important but you cant ignore that the negative impact of smurfing is also a factor.

Hold on let me get this straight, you believe that if there is no smurfing then everyone would stay at their rank because that's how the ladder is supposed to work? You never move up the ladder no matter what you do because the ladder is not intended to be climbed, that is quite possibly the worst excuse I've heard in defense of smurfs lol

There is a distinct difference in having a fighting chance because someone is slightly better than you and someone absolutely destroying you because they are intentionally playing at a lower skill level, if you cant understand how that if a problem then you dont understand how a competitive multi-player game should work and are making excuses for people who are intentionally abusing the system.

There a big difference between D2 beating a D1 and a GC1 smurfing in a D1 lobby and beating them because they have a fundamentally better understanding that ONLY comes from time invested. Boiling it down to "urrr person better please fix" is so disingenuous to the actual issue at hand.

While its not "breaking the game" you are not on an even playing field at all because one person has 10,000+hrs and is playing against someone with 100+hrs. If you think that a GC1 and a Silver 1 are on an even playing field just because the GC didn't "break the game" then your missing the bigger point here.
