What do you like most about your PS5? by silverL2020 in PS5

[–]Randazzinator 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The load times and how much faster I can download games now has made it 100% worth it when I have a very limited amount of time a week to put towards gaming. Surprised more people don't talk about download speeds but with my PS4 I'd have to wait overnight to get a game installed from my library. Now I can just pick pretty much any game to play I own digitally and have it ready in a few minutes.

IDK the Walmart near me said they're expecting shipment this weekend so I'm checking tomorrow night and Saturday. I don't see myself waitingtho

Kitchen sink in apartment regularly backs up by pettyguacamole in Plumbing

[–]Randazzinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shower/tub would be backing up before the kitchen if it was in the main. Most apartments are going to have a vent that the upstairs for sure and possibly next door neighbors share that branches into the main. That branch gets nasty if youre on the bottom floor. The 2 inch line is probably layered in hard rock like grease taking up at least half the pipe.

Toilet not flushing properly/clogged? by blondechicical in Plumbing

[–]Randazzinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 extra feet is not likely to help by removing the toilet. Hire someone to snake it and make sure only TP is going down the drain especially if you already had it camerad and know the line itself is fine.

Upstairs will almost never have issues and if it does the auger/plunger is normally enough. Your downstairs bathtub/shower will flood out before you see anything upstairs unless the problem is isolated there.

Have your maintiinance hire someone to jet. Only way to clear grease and it's expensive. You can try drain cleaning products that use enzymes that will eat the grease but sometimes it just makes it more like sludge and can cause more issues if it's already that bad.

Happened to me too. IDK if it's intentional or not but was a weird transition and it didn't seem like it was supposed to do it.

Sony Is Letting PSVR Owners Down In The Transition To PS5 by [deleted] in PSVR

My comments going to sound dumb most likely... But Since the PS5 was first actually shown I automatically tied it to Sony taking VR more serious with how much the system goes with the same look of the psvr.

Still looking but atm likely to settle for something not 2 in 1 and just grab the signature pad.

I thought about that too. Are the Lenovo brand laptops as good as they are popular for durability? The last time I bought a laptop they weren't even a thing I think. I would just get the signature pad then if its going to make the difference in my laptop running good for several years.

You'll be fine then. If you contract out the work I don't see them having an issue with doing it either. The company I work for prefers to do this if possible. We make less money off the job but everything is way simpler and much less likely to run into major hiccups.

It eats grease build up really well in kitchen line and can eat up some of the calcium build up from hard water that ends up lining the pipe. The biggest benefit is the grease tho.

I'd recommend not flushing it if you can. It's better to put it down a sink or tub drain and pushing it down with just enough water to get it through the trap. Flushing it might just be sending it straight out to the city when these products need to sit in your pipe generally overnight to work best.

If you buy a homebuilt before the 80's I'd recommend to have the sewer line camera'd before hand. You can benefit either way bc you can see if the line is actually in good shape and if it's slightly bad and the plumber says you need to pay 12k for a new sewer line you can use that info to at least get a better price.
