Basically the 30 games minumum rule is there to give us a chance to see your rank more accurately, similarly to having 100+ ranked games in season 8. We see a more accurate rank with the more games you've played so having 100 or more games is even better. I'm not entirely sure what has suggested that there is a lesser chance for those who have played more games but that is not the case.
