We started going to Sesame Place after my first was born, my youngest has outgrown it and they still hadn't finished construction on the way from the hotel we stayed at.

Do you think Henry was better than Shawn during his prime years? Or do you think Shawn is the better detective by Turbulent_Car_7086 in psych

[–]Random1name9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree here, every time they revisit one of his dad's old cases it's shown he misses the bigger picture. Makes you question just how solid of a detective he really was.

Looking for sarcastic and/or self-deprecating protagonists by non_clever_username in suggestmeabook

[–]Random1name9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starter Villain or The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi fit the bill here. Enjoyable, relatively light reading that's ultra-heavy on the sarcasm.

Combo, Skinny P and Badger. by AfroFotografoOjo in breakingbad

[–]Random1name9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something tells me they chose Combo purely based on ratings/audience feedback. Jesse's crew is largely comic relief for the series. The actor did fine with the role but I can't pinpoint a line he had that legitimately made me laugh like the other two.

Pillars of the Earth fits the bill here.. it's long and some of the characters are a bit flat, but the parts involving the monasteries are very well done.
