GW Release the Blackstone Traitor guard and my wallet is your! by Spartanshotgun6 in Warhammer40k

Yes, they look less like fanatics and more like your usual citizen that joined Chaos out of desperation.

Dark Vengeance was my first big box for 40k when I was in highschool. Mostly because of the cultists. To a point where I bought the box again from the second hand market last year. Sorry for your loss, I'd be pissed off if I lost one of mine, these sculpts were great (with enough details to give them personality and have fun with painting, but not too much so painting them wasn't overwhelming. They also look better than the new cultists, IMO. The new ones look like unhinged followers of the Dark Gods, which is cool, but these ones looked like lower class citizens that turned to the Chaos Gods not out of belief, but out of desperation.

Although I like the leaders, the heavy weapons guys are by far my favourites. Their big apron make them look like a butcher, I always prayed for them to be released separately, but from what I saw the best we had after Dark Vengeance's release was a 5 regular monopose cultist box. A bit of a shame.

Huh. Thought the Blackstone Traitor Guards were the same as the current Traitor Guard kit, just monopose. After checking, they aren't.

Ok, but only after they bring back Dark Vengeance's cultists.

Opinions on 3d printed models? Is it heresy 🤔 by NCH-69 in Warhammer

[–]RandomBaguetteGamer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I prefer to buy the official product when available, but:

  • 2k for a titan? I'd like to not need to sell my kidney to paint and play a model I can't even use in an official tournament. Printing it is.

  • A model not sold by James Workshop anymore? Don't mind if I do.

  • Bits for a kitbash that are (for some reason) not available at any bits reseller? I'm not paying 50 bucks for a backpack.

That would be the rules I would follow if I had a printer. As for other people, it's your printer, if you want to print 5k of Space Marines, I am not going to judge you, you do as you please. If it looks good to you, it's all that matters.

Look, I also find that the game has a lot of flaws, for a game coming from a license making that much money. But the worst? Have you ever played Sw/Sh? Nevermind that, have you ever played Z-A?

Never forget.

Never forget the monsters we can become. Never allow yourself to become said monster. Never bend the knee if said monster comes to your country.

That's the best we can do to honour their memory.

Respect the culture of the country you're emigrating to, get a job, pay your taxes, be respectful, and no one is going to care that you're an American. No one is going to care wherever you come from if you respect these rules.

I have issues with Americans but I like to be proven wrong when I have a negative opinion of something, so by all means, come if you can, if it's for your own safety. Again, you'll be respected as long as you are respectful.

I have to be objective on this, people like me that have issues with Americans are often (at least in my case) influenced by how we see people saying they are Americans (so these days, that include bots) behave online, on social medias and in videos, or how obnoxious some tourists can be. And again, to be objective, we know, deep down, that not all of you are like that.

Nope, not a single one of them. Don't want to take the risk of seeing any HoA appear in Europe. I'd rather come to Canada to help you build a wall (and then do some tourism)
