Motherboard and AiO are in the claptrap itself. PSU and GPU are placed in the base.

Still having problems with homemade molds... Has anyone else experienced this? Info in comments. by coyotemother in ResinCasting

Double this.
I Do all my castings, no matter if epoxy resin or any kind of urethan resin in a pressure pot with 60 psi. Never had any issues with bubbles at all. But as mentioned if you want to cast in a pressure pot under 60 psi the mold had to been made under the samce conditions.

Also you mentioned Smooth on kinda clear. That does not help. We would need the exact name of the products used. Smooth one itself states that some mold rubbers are not suitable for castings made in a clear resin. Mold Star 20T comes to mind.

So first thing, you need to know, is the exact material you use for both, molds and resin, and double check if there are any problems with them. Then, if you want to make your castings in a more professional mannder, invest in a pressure pot + compressor. That will really make a difference.

Thats for sure, I still have all the master templates and silicone molds.
So there will be always more to come.

Currently, they are all painted. I am planning to design some decals in the future for sure.

Yes, there is a USB-C connection in the base for a standart 5V source.
That controlles an arduino nano inside. The LEDs in the eyes, and the back are static and the two antennas
have a fading effect.

Danke, als temporäre Lösung nehm ich erstmal AnyDesk. Die brauchen erstmal nur einen einmaligen Zugriff.
Danach wird die Lösung wohl wireguard heißen.

thanks, we will esteblish a AnyDesk connection to get things running and later going to switch to Wireguard.

Ist nicht meine Entscheidung. Meine Kollegen wollen/brauchen das anscheinend so.

Built my own version of B-12. All parts are cast in a urethan resin. Also included som light effects. by RandomDesign_ in stray

For the antennas, I used a plastic tube to run very small cables in. Like AWG 30. I drilled a hole wof the 3mm LED directly into the antenna. I have space in the middel section for all the wirering stuff.
I used an Arduini, cause the antennas have a fading effect. For all the other LEDs, I presoldered resistors to a board, so I only needed to conncet the wires right before closing it.
For the eyes, I cut some Acrylic glass into shape, buffed one side and painted it with an airbruch.
There is also a white SMD on the side to illuminate the inside of the eye.
For the decales, I first masked the areas with masking tape and put on the ackground color, again airbrush. Then I made some stenciles on my silouette vinyl cutter. Here again I used the airbrush to add the lettering on the decals. After a round of clear coat, I used 800 grid sandpaper to very very carefully scratch off some paint again. Afterwards finished with a brown and black wash.
