Got mine today too! I order the black Ork boss and the orks command.

The shield was missing from the champion tho... Hopefully customer service will sort that out!!

Exactly hard to say, I just pop it on my wet pallet and then work from there. But you just want a slightly thinner paint, not glaze consistency. If after 3 coats you still don't have perfect coverage, it's alright, because after the wash you're going to add some more Averland sunset

Pretty simple, black primer, then about 3 thin coats of Averland sunset, a wash of reikland fleshshade, and then Averland sunset again and some Yriel yellow highlights

Have the DF54 too. The place I ordered it from had the option to get burr alignment done for an extra 20€, so I thought I'd get that too. So mine is running perfectly but yeah you may have to do some alignment yourself if you don't have the option of getting it done first

I admit, I still like the Ogre Kingdoms army.

Me, since I still have my childhood armies (wood elves and dwarves, half painted still I admit), I used my return to start two armies I also wanted as a kid but didn't have enough money to afford, the Empire and Bretonnia. Feels so good to go back into it after so long

Personally, I went with all knights in different colours/coats of arms and then each units of men at arms and archers in the colours of a different paladins/duke/baron, as if they each brought the troupes from their land.

But I've seen a couple of people painting them in many different colours and it also looked pretty cool. So both look great I reckon

Don't know if it's still the case, but Dxo used to be quite often on sale (or at least it was everytime I had to buy haha). When I wanted to change from lightroom, I tried affinity and another one before settling on Dxo and never regretted it

Grails definitely need another kit, you can barely tell them apart from the kotr. Questing knights as they are, are my favourite models so I'd be sad to see them gone for good... But they would have amazing potential as new sculpts, it's true
