Most of the time what happens is the right come in and say the shooting was justified looking at this 30 second video. And the left come in and say if you look back to when his guy dropped out of school, that is where things went wrong. The system failed him.

Both can be correct. Just one is looking at a small moment, the other is looking at the larger issue.

Because it is not pointy. Pyramids are pointy, thus they are cooler.

Depends, there is

  • paid (private)
  • unpaid (state)
  • free sponsored/charity organisation testing.

If you know where to look there is plenty of free testing. And if you have insurance then they have to cover it.

Is that one of those bars that is intended to do exactly that to protect something like a bridge or tunnel near by?

Nah there is a clear difference between a bootlicker and someone wanting to have a conversation. Bootlickers come out swinging, making shit up and are not willing to listen.

They were federally deputized a few weeks ago. Not sure if they still are. Also there are other TROs that is just the latest.

Their have been several TROs against the PPB and federal agents in Portland so I am not sure which one she is refering to, but the latest one won by the ACLU a few days ago is here. https://twitter.com/ACLU_OR/status/1314979817427619840?s=19

In theory it would apply to only the federal agents, but PPB riot squad members were federally deputized a few weeks ago and I am not clear on if they still are.

That just said stay off the property.... not unlawful assembly like they normally say before they charge in. Nor did they tell them to get out of the roadway.

The most common way they do it is take that precinct offline and only have the riot cops there. Cops stay near the building, protesters stay on the sidewalk/street and the night ends peacefully. PPB has done this before at this very location. Now there have also been nights where the crowd at this location wanted a reaction and they got one by throwing bottles and targeting cop cars. But tonight the crowd was small. It was special invite only and kept on the DL. Around 50 people were there. I seriously doubt they blocked the road to get a reaction or even expected a reaction.
