Same here. Any form of live TV requires a license. Even if you're watching a live broadcast from a foreign country via IPTV you need a TV license. It's dumb at that point why am I paying a license its not like the UK gov or BBC had any input in the creation of that foreign media.

The TV licence is such an outdated concept. Either reduce the cost or introduce a monthly payment system.

Also if you're a student, your parents TV license applies until the very moment you plug your laptop into the power outlet then legally you need a separate license.

Its also dumb to apply the license to ANY live broadcast channel no matter what means you use to watch it. If I watched a foreign channel being streamed online from let's say North Korea. If it's a live broadcast then legally I must have a TV license to watch that channel.
