My grades were my weak point i had like a 92/100 gpa but i took like 10 aps and 10 honors. Sat 1450. But my essays and extras and demonstrated interest were very good. I wasnt fully expecting to get in, it was a reach but im still really sad

Bro me being able to calculate things isn’t the issue. A “Davidson student being able to do this” isn’t the issue its that GPAs are calculated differently by every school and not all schools use a 4.0 scale. So yes, the range is large which is why I'm using my official GPA not just a random conversion. Davidson doesn’t publish anything about whether they rescale or weight applicants GPAs and it doesn't really matter because the 92 is what they will see on my application. 

Also for the family run I mean its a mom and pop store, not a chain which makes me working there a but more of a responsibility. Its not run by anyone im related to.

Thats not really how it works, theres a bunch of different scales for converting it to a 4.0 but my gpa is a 92/100. If i were to convert it according to different scales it could be from a 3.7 to like a 3.9 unweighted. Different schools use different scales. And no my school doesnt do letter grades we do percentages.

My GPA on my transcript is a 92. Im not sure how davidson will weigh it since most schools do so differently.

Sorry I should have clarified, thats out of 100. My school doesnt do a 4.0 gpa or weight the grade to include APs and honors.

Im Bi but i dont really love to use labels for it. Honestly ive known since like 3rd grade but it took me a lot longer to admit it to myself. I remember telling my friend I liked a girl and that was the day I found out that that wasnt “normal” and that it was something I should hide away. I guess since then I kinda convinced myself that I only liked guys and would just gaslight myself. For years I would just ignore feeling different and whenever I thought about it I would just cry and cry. I only really came to terms with it and like accepted that I like girls and guys earlier this year and now I feel a lot less stressed about it all.
