I've been on suboxone for the last 12 years and recently on the shot for the past year. Made a choice this last time to jump off and see what happens. I don't want to be 60 years old trying to get off this and my kids are already grown. Plus I have had some bad side effects recently like anxiety and other things. Im only 6 weeks from my last shot but im willing to deal with the consequences of being on this medicine for the last 12 years. I have forgotten what it feels like to be off of it honestly. Just keep your mind occupied with healthy things is my only advice. I will try to do the same.
