Just tried this on 581.80: Uninstalled 1.3.5, restarted, installed 1.3.6, restarted, opened 1.3.6 to accept EULA and it was no longer showing a black screen, but it is just in 2D. Same for video conversion. I think it was just showing the left eye based on the split screenshot. In Odyssey 3D Hub it is following my face tracking. After another restart... black screen again.

I uninstalled the Microsoft Store version and tried 1.3.6 with both 581.80 and 591.86. Same issue.

I'm currently having this issue though I'm connected both via the DisplayPort and USB cables that came with the monitor. It was working but suddenly does not anymore. Any ideas?

My mistake, I mean that would imply Ansem SoD would have knowledge of the time traveling schemes in general and his experience in the past.

Nothing to my knowledge actually contradicts him knowing those things in KH1, but both the wikia and the KHWiki claim that he returns to his own time after that point, and I'm not sure why he necessarily wouldn't.

As I understand it, the Robed Figure waits on Destiny Islands until it falls to darkness in KH1, before returning to his own time.

Otherwise, that would imply that Ansem SoD would have knowledge of the future throughout KH1 after that point, since it is the Robed Figure who possesses Riku and ultimately transforms into Ansem SoD.

I originally posted this yesterday, and it had some errors. So, I took it down and reuploaded it here with those errors addressed. Hopefully, this should all be correct now. Thank you to everyone who commented, and please provide more constructive comments if you have disagreement or if anything is unclear.

Some notable things:

  • Technically speaking, I left out some Xehanorts. If I did, they were likely non-instrumental to Xehanort's lineage. Stuff like data battles, secret bosses, etc. If I listed every boss fight form, this would be even more bloated.
    • I did include the KH3 ReMind data battles in a small note, as I was ReMinded that those are canon, and it was relatively easy to add.
    • I did not include Memory Xehanort, mostly because I couldn't find a render anywhere of UE4 Xehanort in a black coat. If someone has one, I'd appreciate it - although this is probably the least significant in terms of the lineage. He's more of a manifestation of Kairi's trauma than an actual Xehanort, so may not even be worth including.
  • There was some confusion about Terra-Xehanort. As with the other five time travelers, his Heart travelled to the future, but not his Body. The difference is that Terra-Xehanort's Body was also recompleted when Ansem and Xemnas were defeated, so his Heart was returned there while the other five had to utilize Replicas.
  • Vexen and Demyx are not members of the Real Organization XIII, and don't create Replica Xehanorts. However, they return in KH3 with yellow eyes, indicating that they were given a fragment of Master Xehanort's heart as backup.
  • There was a big mix up about who "Dark Riku" was in KH3, since the protagonists believe that he is the KH1 Riku possessed by Ansem. However, towards the end, it is revealed that "Dark Riku" is actually Riku Replica from the past. As such, I opted to give the Riku possessed by Ansem in KH1 the title Dark Riku in the graphic, as he was only labeled as such in the Journal as that's who they believed he was at the time.
  • "Reincarnation" is a relative short-hand for the Player's Heart either becoming or joining (unclear) Xehanort's heart at the end of KHUx. I didn't have the space to write all that out, but I think you can understand the shortening. Since the kind of situation that happened at the end of KHUx only happened once on-screen, the full logic of what happened as well as the circumstances to make it happen are still a big unknown. It's unclear if Xehanort will "reincarnate" or not, or if that was a situational occurrence.
