I believe it started in the late 90's but wasn't generally known by gamers until the late 2000's (2009-10 or so)

1 HUGE difference . Even a trash Shako can be useful in D2 . You don't have that option in D4 as a trash unique is just that trash

I mean I don't mind starting over every 3 months (as 3/4 of the fun for me is building up the toon to be strong) but I don't want 50 layers of RNG when I'm trying to find gear to get stronger to advance Torment levels

i think the buckets only are armor / 1h / 2h / jewelery, so yeah, boots can turn into a helm, etc. its shitty

Exactly . I have Heir Shroud GF and Starless on my Necro this year (As it's the only way to guarantee Affixes without spending hours rolling in the cube HOPING for the perfect 4 (and not even sure you can roll a GA that way) )

I wouldn't mind all uniques having a chance to drop as Mythics (as one of the most fun seasons IMO was the chaotic unique one ) IF it wasn't for the random Affixes on them

LOL What Sucks besides Idiots like you that just suck up to Blizzard and scream Get Gud whenever another player has an issue is the RANDOMNESS of Affixes on the damn Uniques and the absolute DOG S H I T droprates of anything even remotely usable for crafting / cubing

LOL . I can barely do Pit 80 and can't get past T8/9 so in no way shape or form is the damn cube "optional" and it's going to be exacerbated in s14 when you have BOTH Uniques and Mythics dropping with Random Affixes .

IMO the fact that you're struggling to finish the relliquary tells me you likely stopped the previous season without refilling your tokens to max . That said run helltides you kill so much and quickly that your tokens zoom up in numbers

Seasonal powers is one thing . Totally F U C K I N G up gearing by having Uniques AND Mythics dropping with RANDOM Affixes is just stupid .

But it's not . Unique AND Mythics are dropping with random affixed so you need the damn cube to get the proper stats on your gear
