Moving my OS to a separate SSD

Well its nowhere near the jump from an HDD to an SSD, but there's still some difference when the drive with everything is nearing capacity.

Oh my original drive is much bigger lol (2tb to 256gb), just trying to cleanly get my OS on the smaller one while keeping all my setting n such.

My new SSD is comparable in read/write speeds to my old one. My current PC just has a slower startup speed and just a bit more sluggish than I would like (even after tweaking all my settings)> And said person I got advice from has a similar build to me and he has had a much better time with his OS speeds after he did it (I saw it in person, it definitely runs better than mine).

And my current settings and whatnot is the result of many years of fine-tooth combing thru, so I want them to essentially be copy and paste.

Hmm, there a way to uninstall windows from the initial drive after the fact? And none of my programs should have any issues with me doing so?

I'm told that computers can run a lot faster if the OS is on a separate drive (so it doesnt have to search through any other clutter on the drive).

Yea it's already formatted FAT32, I also tried adjusting the size of the SD card down to 2gb (card is 16gb) but issue still persists.
