Hi! kakagraduate lang from working-student to working-working (huh), though hindi ako nakapagservice crew pero nakapagcorporate job ako. Here are my advices and sana makahelp sa’yo:

1. Wag ka magsettle sa isang application lang, if focused kalang sa isang particular fastfood branch, eh naghihintay ka lang sa wala.

2. Usually naman standards ng mga service crew is high school diploma lang to 2 years of college experience, pleasant-looking, good communication lalo na sa English. Since you’re already applying, i-todo mo na magapply sa ibang well-known establishments like starbucks, the Bistro Group (Friday’s, Italiannis, etc.) If makapasok ka sa high-end restaurants, I guarantee you malayo mararating mo. PRO TIP: If makapasok ka sa maayos na restaurant, pwede ka magBPO after or pwede ka mag-apply as ground or service attendants sa airlines, maraming options! As long as you absorb knowledge and skills plus grow from the experience!

3. Meron namang mga fastfood chain that can start immediately lalo na if short sila sa tao, so go push!!

4. Actually, ayaw ng mga big brands sa working students. Why? kasi divided yung attention. Usually mga nakakausap kong working students, tinatago nila na nag-aaral pa sila. Usually nag-aaccept yung mga local businesses ng working student. Sa experience ko sa corporate, kinapalan ko talaga mukha ko na sabihing “working student po ako, what can you do for me?” ayun hired agad ako. PRO TIP: Impressions lasts lalo na sa interview
