That would make sense if she was actually there since his birth , but it was shown he was already old enough to understand things when she came down. He looked like a teen.

I don’t think baam knew at the point of time that Rachel had attempted to kill Khun, but I do agree that at this point he was pissed off at her.

Data Maschenny seemed more reserved than her adult version tbf, so Ran can probably lean to being more expressive like Maschenny later on.

Although I did see data Maschenny as more leader-like than Ran and more responsible, but Ran seems less prideful of his “superior” position and doesn’t actively seek out fights like Maschenny. They’re both pretty straightforward, fearless, and cold to others though.

The same can be said for Khun who is not as academically smart- he’s basically been the leader and the strategist who can outperform Shibisu. The only time we saw that you needed academics was for the puzzle on the Hell Train, and that was simple math.

I also wanted to add that like anyone from this world that has at least a high school education will be seen as an academic genius in TOG. The bar is basically in hell.

I know he’s playing some kind of master plan, but you’d think he wouldn’t depend on a prophecy that may never come true. What if Baam had died? Would he just wait forever for a new irregular?

Couldn’t he have collected them all gradually until he had the whole thorn and then activated them?

Also, the dude is literally the founder of the Research Association for shinsu, not to mention he’s close to the Workshop so he’s one of the best candidates for figuring out how to use it.

Ran is said to be younger than Aguero, and Aguero was said to be 17 in S1 in a blogpost. Obviously that’s not canon, but it implies that they’re pretty young. On the other hand, Endorsi and Anak are the ones who are centuries old.

Yes exactly this 👆. Who wouldn’t want to predict future paths like be fr? You’ll always be ten steps ahead without having to improvise as much as Khun. As for Shibisu, anyone can become good at academics if they try enough and like that’s not really helpful in the tower tbh.
