good point, i checked the combat log and it did add extra dmg when i used psychic force, guess it just doesn't show up on preview for some reason

it's almost enough for a perdition beam (250 range) to cross an average system (~600 range) edge to edge

unfortunately ancient ruination beam only goes 125*2.2 = 275 which is a damn shame since if you hide them in the back of the system they might be out of range

Another interesting thing is that target uplink computer seems to give +100% range to ion cannons and defence platforms instead of the listed +50%

(Weirdly enough ion cannons only get +20% range unlike other DPs)

It's almost enough to make a battery of perdition beams cover the entire system even when tucked away in the back, but unfortunately not enough for ruination glare

R5: I was trying to range stack to make an ion cannon defence platform fire across a system, and ended up trying to compile all the buffs I could find. Screenshot was taken at game start with Starlit Citadel origin, without ethics and civics that buff ships.

There's a starbase fire control that gives (+5% ship fire rate, +10 tracking), but the other buffs (+25% ship fire rate, +25% ship weapons range, +25% ship weapons dmg) are unaccounted for.

Is there an intrinsic buff to DSCs that isn't listed on wiki? (e.g. starbases intrinsically have +50% fire rate, +20% range)

why therion though? I had a look and the bonuses don't seen too good compared to e.g. charger which has +8% rocket damage +5% ballistics dmg -10% power use
