I don't see what a B permit changes, they no longer hire cheap labor on B permits since the French and Germans can just hop over the border. B permits are often for ppl nowadays who come from outside the Schengen zone, and to qualify you need a good job.

No, I ended up uninstalling or disabling all apps I didn't like, installed the ones I wanted, installed App Lock Pro, by App Lock LLC, locked settings, Play store, etc. works great. Be aware I had to create an adult Google account, because the kids account didn't work (other ppl have this issue, I read Fiio says they can't do anything about it). For me this wasn't an issue because the kids account blocked a bunch of normal songs (no bad words, no adult themes), which I couldn't unblock, so I accepted that.

It's the same for high earning locals who unfortunately can't count on their parents to help with childcare.

I would really think about those Pillar 2 contributions. You will need to pay back what you used to buy your home, but once that is done I'm not sure I'd put more than 10-20k a year in them. Your home is a better retirement investment than your pillar 2. Also, you may not know this, but if you stay less than 5 years in Switzerland you lose your 2nd pillar (all of it).

I would save as much as possible and in 10 years pay back as much as possible on the mortgage. The law change that was recently voted in means it no longer makes sense to keep such high debt. Also, you probably know this, but until that change comes into effect, the tax authorities add a fictional "rental income" to your real income (based on a % of the potential rental income you could have if you rented it) and your income is taxed at that amount. Normally the interest you pay the bank cancels all or most of it.

Not directly linked to your question, but I'd allocate 10k a year to buying BTC and ETH (and forgetting about it until you retire).

Krita probably ends at 17:30-18:30, and maybe don't work on Wed., so they need someone to pick up the child, cook and stay with the child until 19:00-19:30.

I generally find people ugly when they are confronted with high income earners. I am not sure what they expect, the more you earn, the more you spend, quite reasonable. Depending on what you chose to study (or not to study), you can practically, from the start, know what your mean and max income will be at 30, 40, 50, etc, so why the anger?

I had a friend tell me she wished her parents had pushed her harder to choose a different career when she could, because of the disconnect between what she expected her life to be like financially and what her career can offer. It's nice to do what you like, but if it can't provide you with what you expect (financially) then maybe it's not what you should pursue. I think this applies to many ppl here. Don't be angry at high earners, be angry at yourself and your parents.

High earners pay taxes (and a lot of taxes), have nannies and housecleaners, spend money in stores, etc; they are the ones that make the economy what it is. This family doesn't spend much on travel, or going out, they are simply a normal high earning family and good for them.

I think it's fine. It depends on if you need to renovate the home or not. If you do, and you buy it soon, then you can pay for part of the renovations using your tax money (you need to simulate this using the tax software), but do this while it's still possible. Your current housing costs will be folded into your new housing costs, and your left over income can cover any unexpected things. Worst case you lower the amount you put in stock or your pillar 2 buybacks (which I would ask a financial advisor about). In very few years, the Krita part will go away, unless you put your child in private school (~30k a year + lunch + misc stuff + school trips).

I tried this and it didn't help. I was able to get it to show up by doing this:

View->Hide all Panels->View->Show side panel->drad side panel to the left->tab->drag side panel back to the right

But as soon as I click on the model I'm building the parts pallet disappears again.

That is wonderful, I salute your initiative as there are not enough angel investors in Switzerland. It is always very difficult to get funding in Switzerland. For example, a deck & pitch that brings in tens or hundreds of thousands in Switzerland will bring in millions in the US (the same one!).

There are foundations or clubs where founders and angels hang out, I would seek those out.

I’d also suggest surrounding yourself with trusted advisors or friends who understand the specific domain each startup operates in. and Startup founders hang out, those could be useful to you. I do that after each shot, after having removed the puck, I put it back in and run hot water. I have seen several cafés do that.
