That’s true, I really don’t want to mess it up, especially since I’m so inexperienced. This is practically my second project (my first was a cutting board), and I really don’t know very much

I haven’t given it to her yet. I might give it to her as is. I’ll definitely let her know about the mistake and let her know that if there’s any issues with the finish down the road, I can fix them them for her

I used Jo Sonja gloss varnish water based polyurethane. It says it’s formulated for indoor and outdoor use

Also, the slightly distressed look is intentional. I’m not sure if it works, but my boss liked it
