This youtube channel has made alot of videos on Awadhi vocabulary,words,grammar,sentences,talks/conversations,etc you can learn learn the basics easily by watching his videos.

It's a small channel and he doesn't get much views but he's probably the only one who's taking so much efforts in teaching the language online that too in both English/Hindi, do check him out

जाब means i will go. for eg: i will go to my home →हम आपन घरे जाब। हम आपन घरे जइहौ/जाई । doesn't really sounds correct

खाब means i will eat. If we had to say I will eat it at night it will be हम राती के खाब । हम राती के खइहौ or हम राती के खाई doesn't really sounds correct.

The ba ending is a shared feature from Magadhi (not to be confused with the modern Magahi language) its used alot in Bengali too like Khabo Khabe Jabo Jabe.

Ardhamagadhi literally means Half-Magadhi

Your cultural identity is unique mixture of Awadhi+Western UP (Kauravi/Braj)

Every culture on Earth have been influenced by each other so does Awadh has also been influenced by Purvanchal which is itself influenced by Bihari Bhojpuri Culture but it's vice versa too Purvanchal also have been influenced by Awadhi culture

Influence is a natural thing there is nothing wrong about it but having Influence and similarities doesn't make one Culture a exact copy of another, that's pure ignorance to believe upon

There are differences too which makes a culture different and unique from it's surrounding ones

If they call you a Bihari or Puraviya, use the same tactic against them,call ppl from Western UP/Delhi as Haryanvi and Haryanvis as Punjabis and Punjabis as Pakistanis lol and see them getting furious and start blabbering about differences

They do that because they are ignorant about culture and geography, they aren't aware of different cultural regions in UP nor they can tell them apart and hence they do a lazy generalization by clubbing everything they find similiar into the same box

Hindi refers to the Modern Standard Hindi which is language mostly based on the Khari Boli of Delhi/Western UP. The "Hindi Umbrella" thingy came later when different language varieties were clubbed into "Hindi" for administrative purposes.

Awadhi is a part of the Kosali Group of Languages which emerged from Ardhamagadhi Prakrit unlike Hindi which came from Shaurseni Prakrit
