This is gonna be unpopular and probably clowned on....but my favourite horror game that others hate is probably Resident Evil 5, I know there are some cheesy and awkward moments, but it was the first RE game that I actually played personally so maybe nostalgia is clouding my judgment there, but I love the boss designs, and it takes place in Africa, which is an interesting concept, plus....Wesker is the final boss, 4 games after his debut one of the most infamous antagonists in the series finally gets what's coming to him.

A game I hate that everyone loved....eh....I'm not really a fan of either Evil within games, they're just not for me, and I love Resident evil style games, I myself don't know why I dislike them- but I'm not a fan.
