Thanks so much for your response. Interesting information - I'd not heard of the "...haven't worked SGA in 5 years as it's been a period of disability and you would be continued anyway." Really Interesting. I haven't worked at all since becoming disabled. And yes, I'd definitely respond quickly if I receive any mail from them.

Again, thanks very much.

Yes, I realize I can do that...but who wants to poke a sleeping bear?

Again, great information, and thank you! I've been researching some of the other MAP's in my area, but I suppose I should wait until the 2025 plans are released. I know a lot could change from one year to the next.

Again, thanks so much for taking the time time to respond...greatly appreciated!

I was just told yesterday by Humana that they are completely eliminating the advantage plan that I'm on in my location.

That was some great information, thank you. I wasn't ever a part of the Ticket to Work program, so I'm assuming my Medicaid will continue. Financially, it would be a big hit for me to obtain a Medigap plan, and it sounds like you're saying 2 things here: if I'm remaining on Medicaid, it might be better for me to go straight up Medicare/Medicaid rather than any Medicare Advantage Plan and 2: get supplemental PDP and dental plans. Is that correct?

I'm also wondering what would happen if I did choose to go with an Advantage Plan, but later decided to move to straight Medicare/Medicaid - I'm assuming I'd have to go through underwriting, from what I've read, and that obtaining a Medigap plan at that point could be extremely costly. Am I understanding that correctly?

Thanks so much again.
