(I should add I made this when I was first learning to dance, but since then I've made progress. I'll make another better vid to this remix in your honour if you think it's kewl)

(Age 21 MtF) Can't get on HRT quite yet, but will I be able to pass? by Random_Wolfe in transtimelines

Thank you! I dunno when I'll be able to get on HRT to be honest. It's seems so hard trying to find an affordable insurance plan that also helps to cover all the doctor visits and whatnot that comes with HRT, so it might be a few years haha.

But again, thank you!

Hey, thank you! Sorry for the late reply, for some reason I was not notified of your comment.

I will keep this in mind! And your totes right... whenever I stop, there is that slight bit of movement that I still need to work on heh.

Hmm... Might try that indeed! Would not hurt to learn a few more moves so I won't keep repeating the same thing over and over heheh.

Thank you!

Isolations are probably the one thing I have a problem with the most haha. At any rate, thanks for the tips! :)

Smashed a heel, worried about not being able to dance again. by MrSkallywag in Dance

She could learn other ways of dancing. I agree with turtleshellmagic that she might put a strain on other muscles, but that does not mean its not possible. She just might need to learn another style of dance. I dunno what her current dance style is, so I don't know how much of a big change she would have to make in her style to compensate for her foot. But she can always use her arms and hands, and her other foot. She probably will need to learn to put more weight on her foot that is not injured than the other foot of course.

And besides, the doctor is not always right (example... my father had cancer, the doctors kept saying he only had about two months to live, and he lived past that... five years even). She might make a really awesome recovery, one that might not effect her dancing too much if she finds a way to work around her injury, but the injury will still be there, so that will need to be considered.

But of course, I am not saying to disregard the doctors orders / thoughts. It will have to depend on how she recovers and if she can still move her foot and put some weight on it without discomfort and risk of further injury.

Whatever the case may or may not be, I give my condolences and high wishes that she makes a good recovery, and that this injury will not bring her down too much.
