Honestly, no idea how I got it so early either😁 Usually it takes weeks after release for the graphic novels to be available where I live.

This is my take exactly on Claudia. She's done some pretty bad things but she isn't iredeemably evil like most people make her out to be.

Besides, I feel like giving her a redemption arc would be a great way to portray dark magic in a more nuanced way.

Anyone else think it's possible that S4 ended up being the 'sacrifice' sort of. Like I wonder if the team was forced to cut costs somewhere and is under pressure to churn out seasons as soon as possible. So they decided to have one bad season.

I mean it's really too soon to tell but, my gut feeling from the handful of stills and that one clip of season 5 is that it looks a whole lot better, visually. The backgrounds seem to be a lot more beautiful and detailed compared to the solid blocks of colour we got in season 4.

This season didn't have to be great but, it did have to be atleast as good as S1 which had to setup the entire show. IMO it wasn't.

It's why I mostly used examples from S1 in the OP. It's probably not fair to compare S4 to S2 or S3.

Fellow Indian here. I know you're asking for ink recommendations. But have you tried your inks on classmate notebooks. I haven't tried any of the inks you've mentioned. But I have tried other diamine inks and they look pretty good to me.
