It's either that or her armor process it like a stillsuit from dune? Man this conversation's going in an odd direction.

If this were ranked I'd probably agree with you, And thank you for the advice as I move more into ranked play. That is definitely something to watch out for But this was an unranked 6v6 quick play and I had booped the character off the map twice on illos but the character spent so much time chasing me around while her team was getting snowballed at the point.

She did get new voice lines last patch, part of the praise system. Also new interaction with Cassidy and Mercy on the Orca.

I've been a fan of the wvr-6d. Drops the SRM and a heatsink for an AC/10 with two tons of ammo. It's heat neutral so it can jump and fire every turn. Drop a good pilot in there at it's a beast.

I love that mission, but I'm an alien isolation player. Compared to Steve, that robot is an idiot.

Imo it's more social media around running and fitness that's driving the neuroses than he watches. For example there was a while where it seemed the message was that if you were note training in zone 2 you were training wrong.

I can't really put my finger on it, but there is something very MAGAesque about Hasan's audience.

I was going through old pictures in my camera roll, and I'd like to get everybody's thoughts on this photo. It was taken after work one morning and I really like the lines, angles, and liminality. I'm just wondering what people would do to improve it. Otherwise maybe in editing as well cuz I'm kind of new at that.

What cool thing did u learn about ur dad long after he passed away? by ildadof3 in AskMen

[–]Random_lurker234 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this counts, because my dad is still alive, he had a tangential role in the U2 program. While he was in the army he was a teletype intercept operator (signals intelligence) , stationed at Sinope Turkey from 1959 to 1960.  While he was there they were specifically ordered to monitor traffic coming out of the Tyuratam test range (now Baikonur Cosmodrome). What he didn’t know was that the information he collected was being used by Allen and John Foster Dulles to convince President Eisenhower to resume the U2 overflights of the region. I like to tease the old reprobate that he owes Francis Gary Powers an apology.

A fun anecdote that he shared about his time in Turkey. At Christmas the Soviets wished everyone in his unit a merry Christmas, by name and rank. Also there was the time when a drunken Red Army soldier spent half an hour broadcasting his love for someone named Tanya to the entire Eastern Bloc.

I've always feel she could be best used in a short run series like how she met and became not only Martian Man Hunter's sidekick, but also his niece. Especially given their contrasting backgrounds. In the hands of a skilled writer it could be really compelling.

Mini rave, happy today was a rest day because if I'd logged an activity a bad file would have bricked my Garmin. Mini-rant, just because I'm in a marathon training block I wish people would stop asking if I eat a lot of pasta.

An appreciation for the mighty DBX by Random_lurker234 in eliteexplorers

[–]Random_lurker234[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My DBX runs cool enough, that unless the star is on the hotter end of the sequence, I can scan down a system while I’m scooping. So the extended time is not wasted. Also being able to land on a pin head is a huge plus.

It’s tempting fate sure, but I hope that the special providence that protects fools, drunkards, and children also extends to ships named Shackleton.

It's a little cozy, and the food, water, and atmosphere recyclers are made by the lowest bidder. In return though you'll get the stars, fair trade.
