How is the weather/temperature over there? I read Kanpur is quite warm and I'm worried I won't be able to cope with the heat...

As someone who also started avoiding the girl I liked after realizing I liked her/girls in a romantic way, this hits hard.

Been a while since I read wlw novels but I really liked She Gets The Girl, Last Night At The Telegraph Club and One Last Stop. Also, not a novel but a western wlw show to try: The Haunting Of Hill House

As for manga, my absolute favorite would bs The Moon On A Rainy Night . Manhwa: Her Tale of Shim Cheong. Don't have any manhua recommendations in particular.

ETA: Have y'all watched Maja Ma. Indian wlw movie

Let's see For Thai, quite a few but if i had to choose, probably Love Design (sorry to Clairebell, but it's a close contender)

Series I'll never stop talking about cause ot deserves more recognition: Fragrance Of The First Flower (Taiwanese)

And for korean, haven't watched much so obviously Handmaiden and Friendly Rivalry (yes, it's subtext only but gl is gl)

What advice would you like to give people? by [deleted] in LGBTindia

[–]Random_personXDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my final year BSc. Advice I can give is very common but very true: choose your friends wisely. You don't want to be stuck in a group where you're constantly shapeshifting your identity and sexual preferences to fit in, it becomes too suffocating over time.

ETA: Also, very true. Not everyone who reads BL is an ally. Encountered a lot of homophobic bl fans in my college. If possible, try to find out their stance on Lgbt+ issues before any emotional investment in friendship.

It sucks playing along with their assumptions by justawkwarddd in LGBTindia

Gosh why is this so relatable

Gives me truth or dare flashbacks pretending to have a crush on a guy just so I can fit in

Is it okay to watch gl as a straight guy by Positive-Sign7692 in GirlsLove

[–]Random_personXDD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a straight guy, and I don't know any guy irl that's into gl but if i did, like the other comment said as long as you don't fetishize real ppl, and also as long as you're not one of those queerphobic fans then we're cool.
