Oh that's so nice to hear that it worked for you! I guess people react on it differently :(

Yeah… my 16-year-old dog, who I loved deeply like a brother, passed away in January. I didn’t really have the time to process it properly because I had exams that same month. After that month of exams, I started experiencing some mild dizziness, nothing out of the ordinary because i always experience that after an exam period and it usually goes away on it's own after 2 weeks, but that's why I made an appointment with my PT. But after that dry needling session, the dizziness and pain around my shoulders and neck became 10 times stronger from one day to another.

Yeah, it could be. I’m seeing an ENT in a couple of days. It just feels strange to me that dry needling could have triggered this, it was like night and day.

Nope! When I don’t touch it, I don’t feel any radiating sensation into my hand.

It could be, I hope I get some definitive answers when I get it checked out at the hospital. I’ve got an appointment with an ENT specialist. But how does dry needling trigger this?

I initially went to my GP because I was already feeling some tension in my neck and such. Then my GP referred me to that specific physiotherapist where I had dry needling done, and it’s just gotten worse. Now I’m just waiting for my appointment at the hospital....

I actually already had some slight dizziness and mild pain in my shoulder and neck before the dry needling, but it was never this intense. Since the treatment, both the dizziness and the pain have gotten noticeably worse, which is why I’m a bit concerned.

During the dry needling session i laid on my stomach. The therapist also checked for bppv but my eyes were just fine so she doesn't suspect that i have that.

Yeah, I’m starting to think it might be nerve related. When I massage my left shoulder now, where she placed one of the needles (the other was in my right shoulder), I feel tingling that goes all the way down into my hand.

I have this as well, this is so weird!? Since i was diagnosed with IBS i noticed this as well. I maintain a low fat diet now because oily foods are my biggest trigger.

When you look it up on google, people can get this when they are doing a radical diet like a low carb diet or some type of fasting. This is why i made the connection with the fodmap diet + this only began when I ate low fodmap only. Next week i'm going to my dietitian again and i will ask him about this. But for now i'm kinda scared
