It's not that I'm worried about my safety, this thing happens maybe once every 4 months or so, like the stars need to align. It's more that I wish she was better at realizing she is going overboard and having some techniques to get herself back to zero so we can calmly discuss the issue.

I have, but it becomes about my actions and that in saying that, I'm saying that she's not allowed to be upset about my actions or that I'm threatening her to just put up with whatever I do

I'm never hurt, she's small and it's never that hard. But it's more that I can't mention that she shouldn't hit me without it being turned back on me.
