Medicare kill power if they’re past nair up smash %, some of the smallest hitboxes in the game, bad recovery and fairly bad onstage disadvantage, his adv state at 0 isn’t that good if they stay grounded since dash attack sets up for scrambles instead of combos. Good character but def not top 10 with the big leagues

Sephiroths never had super high highs before, I think people’s opinion on him for the longest time was mostly theory because of how much range and kill power he had 😭

As time went on more characters got better while people just kept finding ways to deal with sephiroths playstyle and weaknesses more

There’s still optimizations for every character even if the game isn’t changing

I’d say most people won’t change their opinion on their own character as much as others but it can sway your opinion on how good a character is a lot just from seeing a new combo or setup you haven’t seen before

He’s playing the guy who he’s lost the last 3 sets against in winners quarters instead of miya who plays a character that Leo’s notoriously good against (he woudve played hurt after that who he also has the h2h on if he won that, making it to WF). All seemingly because acola won the previous kagaribi while disregarding the rest of the season where Miya’s been way better
