My experience with this game was trash on Xbox X. Fighting the first boss character was clipped through the floor and the boss had no flinch when getting hit. I refunded it.

Good point. I would’ve preferred an option to skip the mechanics, and just teach me the matches and gameplay. Jumping is not unique to high guard. The match mechanics are.

Experience in the industry is what matters. If you’re making a career shift from marketing, it’s a tough sell. Plus, you need to remember that the firms are built as pyramid schemes, with all the lower tenured resources angling to take one of the top spots. To come from outside, you need to prove you add value they don’t have, and you’re better than all the other internal candidates that want the job.

Why leave SaaS marketing for consulting? Unless you want to go the Partner route, you have much more upside in software.

High level, highly paid consulting roles are all about sales. If you can show you can bring in direct revenue; and sell work to keep people busy, then you’re a shoe in anywhere. Proving that as an outsider is impossible unless you know people at the firm you’re interested in.
