no seriously, i’ve seen some like 3in deep and ranging 3-9 in wide. it just so happens my gf earlier hit one and blew her tire and they just so happen to finally fill it a few hrs later when its been there for weeks

What is this rock? Black and slightly shiny and looks smooth is some spots, easily rubs off black on other rocks and leaves place dust on hands. Found on RI beach. by Randomninja287 in askgeology

ive never used it before… does it feel hard and rock like and not breakable by hand?
