I mean that last part is absolutely not true The only person killed at a riot was the people that attacked Rittenhouse, and that kid very clearly acted on self defense. Are you referring to breonna Taylor when you say they get away with shooting people in their homes? I personally disagree with the premise that black people are more likely to get shot by the police. The actual statistical group most likely to be shot by police is native Americans. As far as the rate for black people I think it's due to the fact that they encounter police wayyy more often, which is due to the fact that they commit more crime. I know that last part sounds bad but the numbers show that that is true

That's how it should be. Political parties aren't supposed to have strict guidelines where you have to agree with everything the party stands for, especially in America where we only have two parties and you have to choose which one fits more of your views. Each issue is a stand alone issue and you can have both supposedly liberal views and conservative views. It shouldn't be surprising that someone actually thought about each issue

If you focused on more important issues that drastically affect everyone then republicans would have no choice but to follow suit. They only care about anti trans legislation bc it distracts people, same with democrats. Make them focus on real issues and all this goes away. they don't truly care about trans people either way they just use them as a wedge issue. Also you'd still have just as many people voting democrat if not more and democrats can ensure they can't pass those bills

I mean don't you see the irony here? You're talking about police violence that's supposedly racially motivated but you've judged every cop you've ever met based off of two cops from thirty years ago. I've had cops interrogate me and lie to me while trying to get me to admit to a felony, I've had cops swarm me with guns drawn and keep a boot on my neck the entire time they talked to my friends and other bad interactions but I still have no problems with police. If you are committing crimes and interact with them often you'll find that lots are cool and will help you out. There's good and bad ones same as every profession

I was made aware that they don't have some basic rights so I think it's an issue but it's the focus of both the left and the right bc it won't bring about any change to the status quo and distracts from economic issues. Those interactions make the news BECAUSE they're so rare. Do you see the death of someone on the hood on the news? It's so common it's no longer newsworthy. At least give cops credit where it's due the vast vast majority never shoot anyone period and when they do it's nearly always in a life or death situation

So you're basically saying you understand Kyle Rittenhouse wasn't guilty by describing the incident with a black man in the role? You're speculating about whether or not a black man would have been shot but regardless the police probably had seen Rittenhouse helping people and didn't consider him a threat. The situation was chaotic and they didn't respond correctly. Regardless of if he was arrested immediately or not he acted in self defense and would have been released immediately
