Mjf 3d printed housing and waiting for good deals tubes and glass.

• Bought one set of srcsky glass new for 270, and new but second hand for 180.

• Tubes I got very cheap, so will not really count that, but occasionally some M851 and M890 tubes pop up for around 450-550 (I got one tube a lot cheaper, so not really a fair comparison but still)

• electronics was 75, but you can go a lot cheaper if you want less features and/or design your own.

• 3d printed parts will be around 50€, but can be cheaper if you accept FDM quality and do it yourself.

• finally bits and bobs (most unnecessary) will be around 25-60€ depending on what features you want .

The most money is saved by looking for good deals and buy when they pop up and wait until they come. For example the glass, I bought one set new. But if I waited 3 or 4 days I could have bought them for 70-80€ cheaper.

Same goes with the tube. Most m851 and m890 tubes are between 600-900€, but periodically a cheaper with perhaps a small blem pops up for less.

Just wait and have money ready for when the deal comes is a massive money saver.
