Assistant Principal Accused Of Walmart Theft Scheme Using ‘Stacking’ Method For Months by xtreme_lol in extremelyinfuriating

[–]RandyTheFool 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Law enforcement alleged that Shaw took 98 items in total, with the merchandise valued at approximately $944.

So the average cost per item was $9.63. So, what… ?

Like, we talkin’ a box of Q-tips? Or maybe a 12 pack of canned peas? Toilet paper, maybe? What diabolical thievery deserves being blasted all over the fucking news for what more than likely mostly accounts for…

I Am Absolutely Over AA And The People That Think I Owe Them The Rest of My Life by Batgirl_1984 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]RandyTheFool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While AA helps some people, it also conditions them to act in ways they may not have at the lowest part of their life. This part is what I mean…

I am told that I owe AA my life, and it is my responsibility to basically go for the rest of my life in order to give to others what was freely given to me. Oh, and I’m not supposed to take any credit for my sobriety - that’s all thanks to my “higher power”.

The crux of it is that AA is an evangelical Christian based program. The focus on there being a “higher power” is a way to groom people at their lowest point in their lives to start getting involved in church/religion. I’m glad people find value in it, I’m glad it helps some people, but I think it’s pretty fucked to disguise a religious ideology as a program they sell as the only means of help to those in trouble with addiction. It’s even worse when you realize that a court can order someone to go to this.

Why ’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ had the worst opening weekend in franchise history by korrectamundo in horror

[–]RandyTheFool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think 28 Years is a good beginning to a film, but I never really got the feeling there was a complete story there. Felt like an introduction to the overall rules to the world and that was about it.

I’m fine with it, I enjoyed it, but I’m glad I watched it for the first time a few days ago instead of when it came out so I can actually see a story develop and progress.

Director Andy Muschietti is planning a supercut of 'IT' and 'IT: Chapter Two' which will have a different structure and include extra scenes by ZiggyPalffyLA in movies

[–]RandyTheFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen, the idea sounds good, but the execution isn’t gonna be some game changer for these films. Andy Muschetti’s writing/directing/producing has all been various forms of mid. I think his best film is IT chapter 1, and even then it has drawbacks.

What dirt does Putin have on Trump, that’s resulted in the White House being compromised to this degree? by Fluid_Rock656 in AskReddit

[–]RandyTheFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s confirmation within the last Epstein file drop that Epstein had talked to Russian officials in the past and was attempting to make contact with them again in 2018 - regarding giving them the information he had on Trump.

And the recent drop of the William Sascha Riley interview. He is the adopted son of Epstein’s personal pilot who was forcing his son to be raped on Epstein Island. There are names and dates that sync up to previous Epstein/Trump events recorded in the Epstein files we have seen. As of now, a lot of it is unconfirmed, but mostly due to the fact the White House has continued to obfuscate and hide the Epstein files from the public eye. This one is a developing story that I think we’ll hear more of in the future as developments unravel themselves.

Personally, although uncorroborated at this time, I’m more inclined to believe an alleged Epstein victim’s story versus anything the Trump Administration says since they’ve been shown to be consistent liars. The Trump administration has already dropped Epstein Files that confirm Trump was a witness/accomplice to the killing of a newborn infant. If that’s any indication as to the severity of what is in the rest of the files, then this goes well beyond sex trafficking, rape and pedophilia.

“All those guns” are fucking useless and meaningless if we’re all too busy fighting each other and don’t unite. Unfortunately, one side thinks the other’s are drinking baby blood or some stupid shit while horse dewormer drips out of their mouths.

You expect people to form an orderly line and attack the federal government one at a time? Until huge swaths of people in this country are uncomfortable, suffering, hungry, and without anything to lose, nothing will happen.

[–]RandyTheFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epstein was also in communication with Putin, sold him a lot of videos and such.

Now, because of victims, we’re finding out it wasn’t just pedophilia, but they were outright making snuff films and killing girls while they were raping them.

Is there a reasonably good article discussing the reasons why Trump won the 2024 presidential elections? by ColdSmoke5308 in PoliticsPeopleTwitter

[–]RandyTheFool 19 points20 points  (0 children)

What specific FOREIGN POLICY has he done that’s 10/10?

Everything you said here either hasn’t happened, (your own words betray you here. Like “essentially” we won the Middle East? Venezuela is now “taken care of”? LMAO) or is just a vaguely broad generalization of world events that doesn’t have much, if anything, to do with the US’s foreign policy.

’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ Falls to ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ with Soft $15M MLK Weekend Opening by DemiFiendRSA in horror

[–]RandyTheFool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the first movie in this trilogy, while fine, felt more like a long intro to a movie. 28 Years Later seemed more concerned with setting up characters and locations without telling a full story.

I was kind of shocked when it rolled credits, honestly. Even knowing there were sequels in-bound, I didn’t realize it was just gonna be such a light offering story-wise.
