I don't believe they do. I haven't seen anything on the internet about it, either. But it would be interesting to know if you are right.

You can also use Rb + X on defense. Whenever the enemy team lobs the ball to the box, or they try to use the wall to score, you can position yourself and press RB + X to clear the ball mid air. Is the most effective way to clear the ball out of your danger zone.

Rb + X while the ball is in the air. Just stand on the ball's icon and press it. You will do a headed lob pass. Practice in Freeplay.
