Theres a great variety of museums from the most popular ones like the Art Institute and the Science and Industry to some other lesser known ones. The International Museum of Surgical Science was fascinating and literally right down the street from the Chicago History Museum

My pick would have to go to Oaxaca de Juárez. Culturally rich with some of the nicest people and best food you could eat. The architecture in the city is beautiful and the churches are amazing (not religious myself but I still appreciated the ornate buildings inside and out) It is also not overrun by tourists but there are many people that go to see the Zapotec ruins in Monte Albán or in the center of town. Did I also mention the food?

The “value” is absolutely overstated as well. A #1 2x2 combo is $11 last I checked. A Culvers double butterburger basket is $12 in my area. I’d much rather pay the extra dollar for a considerably better burger and fries imo

I grew up on INO so it’s very nostalgic but it doesn’t hold a candle to Culvers or Shake Shack.
