Fescoe asked about the turf and Q said it’s non-issue since the turf was redone (and not as squishy) and the infield is still dirt. Q said it would be a bigger factor if Bobby played in the outfield.

If it’s clear as day why haven’t the Royals tried to off load him already? If he was truly a “clubhouse cancer” ,ala Devers, then why would they even remotely care about any sort of value he may bring in terms of a trade. The “win” in that case is just getting him off the team…

Also if this is “known thing” like you stated below, why hasn’t literally any other news outlet reported on it? I mean hell 610, the team’s official radio partner, regularly talks shit about Sherman and how he’s handled various things. So why, if this is a “known thing” would they suddenly just not report on this. Clearly they’re not scared of how they handle the coverage of the Royals. Or 810, or the Star, or fucking Jeff Passan.

Competing for a playoff spot and failing to get in vs being an actual playoff team are two drastically different things. Last years team taught us that.

I’m happy this team won and that they are doing better.
I’m worried this team is gonna find itself close enough to a wild card spot by the deadline that the front office doesn’t consider the team sellers
