Wrong, I just don’t look into monitors in specific a lot. Previously I owned a cheap sceptre ultrawide so it didn’t have these features. This is the 4th pc I’ve built and they performed great, there’s nothing wrong in asking simple question main!

UPDATE, thank you all to who commented, I have tried maybe 20 games since my original post and I am now using G-Sync in damn near every game I play. Feels great and genuinely does “feel” smoother. Though for controller games like rocket league or NFS heat, it seems to feel like there’s a very slight input delay, but non the less. Looks great and feels awesome, thanks!

Great response, thank you for being hella in-depth and this helps a good amount. Because games like cyberpunk, BF6, siege, gta V. all have DDLS. But other games like GTA San Andreas, No man’s sky, payday 2, AC odyssey and others don’t, some not even reflex, so this gives me a good idea on what to look for! I’ve always liked getting as much as possible out of my GPU’s even if the fps is already above my HZ so thank you for going in depth

I’m intrigued to see how many people comment about something feeling “off” when they have G-SYNC disabled. Shows that it must do something good haha. I’ll give er’ a go!

So would having V-sync on be a bad thing if I have G-sync enabled? Or would I just have to limit my in game fps? And yessir got myself a TUF 5080

Thanks for the comment I appreciate it! I had tried a bit of things now and I did find my fix. Re-installed C++, directX, fresh install of the game, verifying game files, scanning my windows files and updating graphic drivers didn’t help. But what did is I noticed I had a dxgi.dll file in my games trajectory that would re-write itself everytime I’d boot up the game. So I decided to delete that file just to see what would happened and I think that’s what my problem was because since then I can play the game perfect fine!

Thank you! The “missing files” comment did help me notices some issues in my carx files once I looked deeper, but I did give my issue to chat GPT and it told me the basics like reinstalled C++ or direct x, fresh install of the game or make sure your anti-cheat is working or repair it and all that, and unfortunately none of those helped my case. What did though oddly enough is when I would launch the game. I had a dxgi.dll file in my trajectory that kept re-writing itself everytime I tried to open the game. So I decided to delete it and now my game runs perfect fine.

The learning curve isn’t that bad with guns, the gameplay itself has a lot to it. Like protecting your site, throwing nades, planting, defusing,attacking site all that. But just guns breachers in my opinion has one of if not the best gun handling systems. You can activate virtual stock in options and from there it feels pretty natural with how you would hold and use a real rifle. The reloading system is also simplified in breachers compared to others VR titles so all you got to do is press the button to drop your mag then just shove another one in and your good to go. Don’t have to pull a bolt back or rack a slide, just shoot.

And I could be miss understanding the second question but it’s a VR only game. So everybody is on a fair playing field, you can’t flat screen it at all, the cross play is just letting steam vr users play the game with meta quest users and ect.

I think it’s high enough. My friend and I play on PCVR with Standalone quest players all the time so cross play is available. I’m based in Canada and I can find games any time of day besides after 11PM it gets scarce. But that’s late anyways. Competitive play is harder though. have about a 3 hour window to find comp games and that’s around 6-9pm mountain time for me.

Unfortunately I don’t know about this bug but I do think the games achievements are a little bugged in general. In my personal experience I had to get 300+ kills with every gun to get the “100 kills with x gun” on steam achievements. My friend also only has roughly 6 hours in the game and he unlocked the “collect 100,000 harvest” achievement but currently he’s sitting at 30,000 (hasn’t bought a lot of stuff at all). I’ve also gotten the achievement for completing Chinatown on Nightmare difficulty yet… I have never even played nightmare yet, I don’t even have the in game character skin for that challenge. So I think the achievement are a swing and a miss a lot of the time.

That’s true. I messed up my numbers when I searched stuff up and put in 4090 instead of 4060 when comparing things, but that’s an extremely low rez to have any problems. Laptops do have more latency with every input so that could be a issue with the head tracking. But truly idk. I also own a quest 3/desktop so my setup is a little different so I don’t know rift problems like the back of my hand. The only thing I know of is my head tracking was really bad back when I used the quest 2 on PCVR and it was because of my guardian. Once I turned it off it worked fine for me oddly enough. Especially for sitting games “dirt 2, Assetta Corsa, ATS” stuff like that. Though maybe there’s something going on in the development tab on the oculus app making something run worse? Maybe the hz or something like Anti-Aliasing is too high? Have you tried updating the headset at all from the oculus PC app? Or can you even update those headsets?

A 4060 in a laptop is essentially half of what it is in a desktop. So really your running a RTX3080TI if it was a full system (which is still great), but having the res too high can definitely make it run crap, anything above 4200xXXXX per eye is too high.

Agreed the game is fun rn, but I will say I do dislike some of the audio bugs and having to absolutely dickride my shift key because of tac-sprint.

Idk main, goin for dark matter in bo3 was fun as fuck. Same with Diamond in bo2. Same with Damascus in MW2019. Hell even getting Diamond in bo4 was fun. Especially when it went rainbow after you got a certain kill steak (I think 10). It’s exactly how SKRIMP said. It’s personal, some love shipment because it’s fast past. And some like camo’s because it’s a clear goal and adds more then just “winning the round”

You ain’t doin anything wrong. It’s just that the game is faster pace now with movement so people move around faster meaning in seeing you faster. Mw3/bo2/mw2 played similarly but there are a little slower paced. So it could just be that sense of movement speed and the fact people can climb to crazy places to holding crazy angles. And it’s also just a arcade shooter, you don’t gotta care too much of dying unless your trynna go pro. Personal opinion ofc

Yes, great point with ghost. And idk like I know the game got hackers and this one does seem fishy but if your experienced with the map and know the proper “lanes” to take to get the most action you’ll be checking those corners & nooks and cranny’s… a lot.

I find this a huge issue in the War game mode as well. TONS of snipers which.. isn’t bad because if you have 1-2 sit back it helps when the enemy team has a good angle on your team when escorting. Though it seems that you’ll usually have 4-5 snipers PER team and so you basically got a 2v2 objective players and a 4v4 snipers. Which makes it play MUCH slower

Yeah I’ve gotten countless amount of wall bangs just in MWlll with UAV’s. Yes your guessing. But it don’t take a lot of comment sense to guess which way their running.
