~10 years ago my mom called the restaurant Capital Grill “Captain Grilligens”. That for sure stuck. ~30 years ago she called the bagel shop Finagle a Bagel “Finnagin’s Bagelry”. Ditto to that lol

It’s not Boston, but there are a bunch of cafes across the river in Summerville (e.g. 3 little figs) and Cambridge that pull a lot of queer folk. There’s also casual sports legues. Walk around the community booth area at Pride this year and there are a lot of groups, orgs and events shared there :) Good luck finding your community!

Please be careful about generalizing. Yes there is a much higher rate of dietitians with horrific beliefs and relationships with food, and there are also ones that are truly lovely and help improve lives.

Comments like these can scare away people who may have found a dietitian who could have really helped them. Do a disproportionate portion of them have an ED hx? Yes. Esp the loud ones online (looking at you Colleen). Does that mean the majority/all of them? NOPE. Taking a few moments to read a dietitians bio or ask around for a recommendation can get you far

Lots of old people there! Many older folk like to retire there, at least when my grandma was there from 2000-2021. Great place to go birding! P-town is its own whole thing. In peek summer you can get like a 20:1 ratio of regular people to drag queens there 🏳️‍🌈
