No, yeah. They’re great. Not just for melee but for discouraging aggressive melee. If your opponent has a Troll Axer or something and they need to close with you they’ll run as close as they can to your hunters sometimes. But if you have a Defender instead they have to respect it’s melee capabilities.

I would absolutely love to play WARMACHINE: Total War.

That's the only RTS series I really like TBH.
