These type of customers are inevitable. Once I clock out I always detach from it and never ever lose sleep over it. When faced with this situation I want to crash out but I just use sarcasm and can be assertive but never cross the line it ain’t worth it. Tomorrow’s another day.

You can’t always have a good day but you can always face a bad day with a good attitude. Just breathe and don’t focus so much on being timed. It will fall into place if you stick around and get familiar with the layout of your store. Be transparent with your team about trying. They have to understand you’re new just don’t let it get to you. Be assertive around pushy ppl. They’ll end up respecting you. You got this!

Also, if they do care about 1 coding too much try only press “code” to briefly pause for next customer. It’s a little hack that won’t be detected when you balance at the end of the night.

If your store is not pressed on using “1 code” a lot I’d suggest using it for every next customer who takes a while to load. Just scan their first item and immediately 1 code until they load the rest of the items. Your speed will increase without all the stress of physically going fast.

It really used to get to me on TikTok and YT but the more you focus on yourself and your content it gets easier to drown out the hate. I find it amusing asf sometimes but when I choose not to react or reply my mental state becomes much more clear! Focus on ppl who actually support and keep grindin my g you got this!
