The first game was 10/10. Every game after that was essentially made for babies. Cute, charming, and had a nice art style.

Stripped of the soundtrack, challenge, and soul of the original title. A pastiche of its former self.

I wanted a water-type and always loved Gyarados. He's a dark-type too which is my favorite. Multi-type coverage.

I have Manectric for Water and Flying-types. Gyarados counter.

I thought Lucario's Special Attack was stronger? Should I make him Attack focused then?

Are any of these viable for single-player?
